The purpose of the document is to procure services of a suitably qualified service provider
(registered electricians / electrical engineer) to assess all college generator and service them for
2026 academic year at Vuselela TVET College for all Campus.
Service and maintenance will be for period not exceeding 31 December 2026 from a date of
appointment.
2. STATUTORY AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
Materials that will be used for service and maintenance must have manufacturers guarantee.
3. QUALITY OF MATERIAL
All materials shall be new, undamaged and free from rust or other defects. Only material
of the best quality.

• Potchefstroom (Main and Engineering Campus), providers must also assess what is
needed to extend backup power for main hall)
• Klerksdorp
• Matlosana
• Jouberton
• Taung
Scope of work not limited to:

Suppliers must submit the following documents:
• Quotation on its letter head.
• CIDB grading EB 1 or higher
• Two(2) reference letters proving experience in Maintenance and Service of Generators
• All required documents to claim Specific goals
• CSD summary report not older than three (3) months
