• Scoring follows an 80/20 point system (PPPFA 2022):

– 80 points = price (lowest acceptable price receives full 80 points; higher prices are scaled down).

– 20 points = specific goals.

• Specific goal: 20 points awarded to suppliers that are an EME or QSE with ≥51 % black ownership.
• To claim the 20 preference points you must submit a valid BBBEE certificate (SANAS‑accredited) or a compliant sworn affidavit.
• Failure to provide the required BBBEE evidence = 0 points for specific goals.
• The procuring entity may request additional proof for any preference claim before award.

• Supply of NIST‑traceable turbidity standards:

1. 10 NTU standard – quantity 1.
