As and when plumbing maintenance contract for PRASA campus buildings

Bids must be hand-delivered to No 30 Wolmaraans Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2001. Submissions must be in a sealed envelope and reach PRASA by the closing date and time. Late bids will be disqualified. All bids must be submitted on the official forms provided (do not re-type).

The evaluation follows a two-stage process: 1) Administrative responsiveness (completeness of documents). 2) Price and B-BBEE (80/20 preference point system, where 80 points are for price and 20 points for B-BBEE status).

The contract is for an 'As and When' plumbing maintenance service for all PRASA campus buildings. The successful bidder must be capable of performing plumbing maintenance as required.

Prices must be quoted in South African Rand on a fixed-price basis, inclusive of VAT. A cost breakdown and price escalation basis must be provided. The validity period for the bid is 90 business days.

Mandatory requirements for disqualification: 1) Price Schedule/Pricing form. 2) Completed RFQ declarations. 3) CIDB grading of 2SO or higher. 4) SBD 6.2 (Local Content and Production). 5) Annexure C (Local Content Declaration). Other requirements: CSD registration, valid Tax Clearance/SARS PIN, and B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
