Non-submission of any mandatory document results in automatic disqualification. Non-mandatory documents (may be requested later): Company Registration Documents, Copies of Directors’ ID documents, Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN, CSD report/CSD reference number, Proof of UIF registration, Proof of Bank Account, Valid COID. Bids must comply with Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000 and Regulations, 2017. Successful bidder must sign SBD7 contract form. Avoid canvassing SCM officers or PRASA employees post-submission to prevent disqualification.

B-BBEE points awarded per status level: Level 1 (20), Level 2 (18), Level 3 (14), Level 4 (12), Level 5 (8), Level 6 (6), Level 7 (4), Level 8 (2), Non-compliant (0). EMEs/QSEs must submit sworn affidavits for B-BBEE status. Non-EME/QSEs must submit valid B-BBEE certificates from SANAS-accredited agencies. Subcontracting >25% to lower B-BBEE entities may disqualify unless subcontractor is a capable EME. Final award may prioritize highest scorer but PRASA reserves right to negotiate market-related prices or cancel if no agreement is reached.
