Submit sealed bid documents in a marked envelope to the tender box at Ground Floor (left of entrance, before security desk), Metrobus Main Building, No. 1 Raikes Road, Braamfontein by 10 June 2021 at 11:00 (Metrobus clock). Late, faxed, or emailed bids are not accepted. The bid box is open 24/7. Submit: 1 original + 1 copy + soft copy (USB/disk labeled with company name and bid number). Use official forms only—do not retype or tamper. All sections must be completed in black ink, in full, and in the issued order. Initial/sign all alterations. For joint ventures/consortia: submit a signed agreement + separate CSD/Tax/PIN proof for each party. Ensure names on returnable documents match ID; submit supporting documents/affidavit if inconsistent. Only the latest tender document (per erratum) is accepted. 80/20 preference point system applies (bid value ≤ R50M). Points: 80 for price (Ps = 80*(Pt–Pmin)/Pmin), 20 for B-BBEE status level. B-BBEE points: Level 1=20, 2=18, 3=14, 4=12, 5=8, 6=6, 7=4, 8=2, Non-compliant=0. Only EME or QSE tenders that are at least 51% black youth-owned qualify. Functionality is a requirement. Failure to submit B-BBEE proof (certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE) forfeits preference points. Supply and deliver stationery, accessories, and related items to Metrobus on an as-and-when-required basis for 36 months. Metrobus reserves the right to appoint multiple providers or a panel. Tender is subject to Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, PPPFA Regulations 2017, MFMA, and B-BBEE Act. Official forms must be used; no retyping or tampering allowed.

Total tender price must be clearly stated in Rand (incl. VAT) and in words. Pricing must be submitted on official forms. No specific bonds, guarantees, or payment terms are stated in the document. For bids > R10M: submit audited financial statements for the past 3 years (or since establishment if <3 years old).

Mandatory: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) or SARS PIN for tax compliance status. CSD (Central Supplier Database) registration required. For joint ventures/consortia: separate TCC and CSD/PIN for each party. B-BBEE: Submit status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE only).
