• The shooting range must be SAPS accredited and PSIRA compliant.
• Contractor-supplied requirements:

• Accommodate 3-5 members on the range.
• Provide a classroom for pre-briefing.
• Have First Aid equipment on site.
• Instructors must exercise full control over the range on shooting days (may have their own Range Officers).
• Accommodate training over a 3-month period twice a year, with scheduled shooting dates.
• Supply all shooting target frames (handgun and shotgun).
• Provide quick access to the range (no long travel distances).
• Allow PRASA to inspect the range for assessment.

• PRASA will supply PPE and a firearm instructor.
• Firearm training must comply with safety precautions.
• Contract duration: One year from confirmation of award, not exceeding the contract value.
• Prices must be fixed for one year; no escalation granted.
• Service providers must submit proof of accreditation with the relevant SETA.

• PRASA may consider a bidder's negative track record in related projects as an objective criterion during evaluation.

• Tax Compliance: Submit a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN from SARS or a TCS certificate. If no TCS PIN, provide a Central Supplier Database (CSD) number.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD): Bidders must be registered on the CSD. Foreign suppliers with no local entity are exempt. Access: https://secure.csd.gov.za.
• B-BBEE: Points are allocated for specific goals as per the evaluation criteria. Provide CIPC documents, B-BBEE certificate/affidavit, and certified ID copies of owners.
