Submit quotations via email to [email protected] by 16h00 on 11/06/2026. Requirements: Quotation must be on company letterhead, fully completed, and signed in BLACK ink. Include all returnable schedules and a Schedule of Deviations (if applicable). Suppliers must be registered on the Sentech Supplier Database and provide proof of tax compliance. All RFQ terms and Sentech information must be treated as confidential. Failure to meet any administrative responsiveness criteria (Section 1) will disqualify the bid. Sentech may appoint one or more suppliers, in whole or in part, or cancel the bid entirely at its discretion.

Evaluation occurs in 3 stages: 1) Administrative Responsiveness: Mandatory criteria include Sentech Supplier Database registration, tax compliance, company letterhead, black ink signatures, email submission, and full completion. Non-compliance disqualifies the bid. 2) Functional Evaluation: Proposals complying with mandatory criteria are evaluated against functional criteria (minimum qualifying score required). 3) Price and Preference (80/20): Lowest price scores highest (80 points). Preference points (20 points) awarded for B-BBEE compliance: Race (10 for 51%+ black ownership, 5 for 25.1–50%, 3 for 5–25%, 0 for <5%); Gender (8 for 51%+ women ownership, 4 for 25.1–50%, 2 for 5–25%, 0 for <5%); Disability (2 points with valid proof). Only valid B-BBEE certificates qualify for preference points. Price calculation formula: Ps = 80 × [1 - (Pt – Pmin)/Pmin], where Pt = bid price, Pmin = lowest acceptable bid. Highest total points win unless compelling reasons exist otherwise.

Scope: Supply, deliver, and install 1) Venetian Blinds (50mm Grey Plass wood) for windows with dimensions: 1.2m height × 90cm length (29 windows); 90cm height × 3m length (3 windows); 1.2m height × 2.88m length (1 window, waiting room); 2m height × 1.43m length (2 side doors). 2) Double door frosting with Sentech logo: 1.75m height × 62cm length. Purpose: Replace worn-out blinds for workplace aesthetics and Occupational Health & Safety compliance.

All bid prices must be quoted in South African Rands (ZAR). If prices are in foreign currency, the exchange rate quoted must remain fixed for the contract duration. Bidders bear all risks and costs associated with currency fluctuations. No contract price adjustments will be made unless pre-approved by Sentech with supporting documentary evidence. Sentech reserves the right to negotiate market-related prices and discounts. If market-related prices are not agreed upon, Sentech may cancel the bid.

Pricing: Quote in South African Rands (ZAR) only. Prices must remain fixed for the contract duration; no adjustments unless pre-approved by Sentech with documentary evidence. Bidders bear all currency fluctuation risks. Price negotiation may occur; Sentech reserves the right to cancel if market-related prices are not agreed upon. Include a pricing schedule in the quotation. Securities, bonds, guarantees, and proof of insurance must be provided within 2 days of contract acceptance.

Mandatory: Registration on Sentech Supplier Database; tax compliance (valid proof required); quotation on company letterhead; signed in black ink; fully completed; submitted via email before deadline. B-BBEE Certificate required to claim preference points under the 80/20 system. Evidence for preference points: Valid B-BBEE certificate for race/gender ownership; doctor’s note or Department of Labour confirmation for disability. Non-compliance with any mandatory criterion results in disqualification.

Preference points (20 total) are awarded under the 80/20 system for B-BBEE compliance. Race: 10 points for 51%+ black ownership; 5 points for 25.1–50%; 3 points for 5–25%; 0 for <5%. Gender: 8 points for 51%+ women ownership; 4 points for 25.1–50%; 2 points for 5–25%; 0 for <5%. Disability: 2 points with valid proof (doctor’s note, Department of Labour confirmation, B-BBEE certificate, or equivalent). Only valid B-BBEE certificates qualify for preference points.

The contract is formed by the Employer (Sentech) and the Service Provider upon acceptance of the offer. The Service Provider must perform all obligations under the RFQ, including compliance with terms and conditions. The offered total price (inclusive of VAT) must be stated in words and figures, as per the pricing schedule. Acceptance is valid when the Employer signs and returns the Form of Offer and Acceptance, including the Schedule of Deviations (if any), before the validity period ends. The Service Provider must, within two days of receiving the signed agreement, arrange delivery of securities, bonds, guarantees, proof of insurance, and other required documentation. Failure to do so constitutes a repudiation of the agreement. The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the fully completed original copy by the Service Provider.

Sentech may appoint one or more suppliers, in whole or in part, or not appoint any supplier at all. Sentech reserves the right to cancel the bid in its entirety at its sole discretion to satisfy needs or manage risks associated with the supply of goods or services.
