Late bids will not be considered. • All supporting documents must be securely bound or stapled to the bid document; loose pages risk disqualification. • Mandatory returnable documents: CAMBD 1 (Invitation to Bid), CAMBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), CAMBD 6.1 (Preference Points Form), CAMBD 8 (Declaration of Past SCM Practices), CAMBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination), and Form of Offer and Acceptance. • Alterations to the bid must be made by striking through incorrect information in black ink, writing the correction nearby, and initialling each change. • Use of correction fluid or tape is prohibited. • A Tax Compliance Status PIN issued by SARS must be submitted; failure to submit will invalidate the tender. • Bids must be valid for 90 days after the closing date; the municipality may request an extension. • No bids will be accepted from persons in the service of the state.
