• Demonstrated experience in scholarly journal layout and design • capacity to deliver 10 issues within 24 months • valid BBBEE certificate and CIDB grading if applicable

• Appointment of a panel of freelance science writers • period of appointment: 36 months • relevant experience and skills required

• Provide accounting and financial management services • review annual financial statements for the period ended 31 march 2026 • ensure compliance with all applicable standards and legislative requirements

• Submit one original hard‑copy bid plus a USB memory stick with all documents to the tender box at water research commission, bloukrans building, 4 daventry street, lynnwood manor, pretoria, by 11:00 AM on 04 march 2026. Late submissions are rejected. • Bids must be hand‑delivered or couriered; couriered bids are only accepted if they are deposited in the tender box before the deadline and are registered on the bid‑receipt register. • Use the official bid forms (sbd1, sbd4, sbd6.1, Etc.) – Do not re‑type the forms. Photocopies may be used but every page must be initialled and signed in black ink. • Include on the USB only the required documents (NO cds). Required returnables: completed bid forms, pricing schedule, tax compliance pin or printed tcs certificate, csd compliance history report, b‑bbee verification certificate or sworn affidavit (for emes/qses), company registration documents, proof of authority (e.g., Resolution), and any required preference certificates. • Bids must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked with the bid number and addressed to the supply chain management unit. • Register the bid on the reception register; failure to sign the register will lead to disqualification. • Disqualification risks: late delivery, missing or unsigned pages, failure to provide tax compliance pin/tcs, missing b‑bbee certificate, incomplete or fraudulent information, or being listed on the national treasury restricted suppliers database.

• Submit a fully compliant health & safety file (method statements, risk assessments) aligned to the scope. • Provide a signed section 37(2) agreement between wrc and the contractor. • Include an OHS safety plan. • Provide proof of statutory compliance: letter of good standing from the compensation fund and valid public liability insurance. • Attach competency certificates for all personnel on site. • Submit contractor appointment letters. • Provide a work programme with timelines, access requirements and anticipated disruptions. • Supply all close‑out documents: certificates of compliance for electrical, fire detection, plumbing, HVAC (if applicable), final snag‑list closure and handover paperwork. • Complete sbd 4 (declaration of interest) and sbd 6.1 (Preference points claim). • Attach a valid SARS tax clearance certificate (or pin for e‑filing verification) and a valid b‑bbee certificate (original or certified copy) before the closing date. • Ensure all bid documents are received before the closing time (23 january 2026 @ 11:00). • Late bids will be rejected; fraudulent information will lead to disqualification. • Bidders declared insolvent must provide proof of rehabilitation. • All prices must be vat‑inclusive. • Quotations must be emailed to [email protected] Before the deadline.
