Atns requires a service provider to deliver three professional entertainment acts at the 2026 atns rewards & recognition awards, held at monte de dios wedding & conference venue on 09 december 2026: a futuristic led act comprising two performances, a live saxophonist or violinist providing one hour of background music during the welcome drinks and canapés reception, and a 15-minute stand-up comedy slot. The supplier must provide all performers, costumes, led equipment, instruments, music and playback devices, customise the led content to atns branding and the awards theme, and attend a technical rehearsal and sound check. Bids close on 13 november 2026 at 11:00 cat and must be uploaded to the atns e-submission (e-tender) system, as email submissions will not be accepted. Evaluation follows the 80/20 system — 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals (10 for 51% black ownership and 10 for 30% black woman ownership) — so bidders must claim and substantiate those goals in sbd 6.1.
Closing and submission: 13 November 2026 at 11:00 CAT, online through the ATNS e-Submission (e-Tender) system only; email submissions and late bids are rejected.
Pricing: SBD 3.3 must be fully completed and priced for all three line items — Futuristic LED Act, Live Instrumentalist and Comedian (15-minute slot) — with all applicable taxes included; any unpriced or omitted cost element makes the bid non-responsive.
Preference points: 80/20 system with 20 points for specific goals — 10 points for 51% black-owned suppliers and 10 points for 30% black woman-owned suppliers — claimed in SBD 6.1 and evidenced by a CSD report, CIPC documents, shareholder certificates, ID copies of shareholders and a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs.
Tax and CSD: a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN (or printed TCS) that stays valid for 60 days from submission, plus CSD registration or proof of application; joint ventures, consortia and sub-contractors must each submit separate TCS/PIN/CSD proof, and no contract will be awarded to a bidder not registered on the CSD.
Scope specifics: two LED performances within a 1 to 1.5 hour window (approximately 5 to 10 minutes each) using six performers, one hour of live instrumental music, and a 15-minute comedy slot (tolerance ±2 minutes); the supplier provides all costumes, LED equipment, props, instruments, music and playback devices, and must submit a customised LED mock-up for ATNS approval before the event.
Approval and rehearsal: all acts, content and personnel are subject to ATNS approval before the event, technical rehearsal and sound check attendance is required as scheduled by ATNS, and any change to content, timing or personnel must be agreed with ATNS in advance.
Non-responsive risks: missing or unsigned SBD 1 or SBD 4, missing POPIA consent, missing proof of authority to sign (e.g. company resolution), and failure to respond to a written request for additional information within 7 working days.

Gauteng’s construction pipeline is bursting—new hospitals, BRT extensions, water augmentation, and mixed-use precincts worth billions are hitting eTender portals weekly. Yet every month I watch competent contractors lose bids because their CIDB grade on page 1 of the SBD 1 form does not cover the estimated contract value. CIDB audits are up 23 % this year; non-compliant bids are culled before evaluation starts. Get your grading right or stay off site—simple as that.
