The contractor must implement safe work practices during maintenance activities, including proper handling of electrical components and fire suppression equipment. Emergency response plans must be in place for fire-related incidents.

Performance security required within 30 days of award. Insurance required for goods. Warranty 12 months after delivery/acceptance or 18 months after shipment. Payment within 30 days of invoice. Penalties for delay. Termination for default, insolvency, or force majeure. Dispute resolution via mutual consultation, then mediation, then South African court. Limitation of liability excludes criminal negligence. Governing law: South Africa.
