Tenders must be submitted on the official tender documentation issued by the Municipality, in a sealed envelope endorsed with the tender number, description, and closing date. Each bid submission must not exceed 4.5 cm in width and 31.5 cm in length. Deposits must be made into the Tender Box at the Supply Chain Management Unit, Bitou Municipality, Shop 59, 2nd Floor, Melville’s Corner, C/o Main & Marine Drive, Plettenberg Bay. Tenders received after the closing time will be disqualified. Tender documents are available electronically free of charge from [email protected], or printed copies may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of R150.65 from the cashier at Shop 54, 2nd Floor, Melville’s Corner, Plettenberg Bay. Proof of payment is required when collecting printed documents.

Total points: 100. The contract is awarded to the highest scoring bidder under the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022. Bidders will also be evaluated on functionality, specifically the experience and qualifications of the organisation. Local SMME sub-contracting requirement: 20%. Local supplier preference: 10%.

The service provider will deliver Local Tourism Organisation (LTO) functions covering Destination Marketing, Destination Management, and Destination Development for the Bitou Municipality area. The contract period ends 30 June 2029.

Bidders will be evaluated on the experience and qualifications of the organisation.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) at https://secure.csd.gov.za. Bidders must comply with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022, including B-BBEE status level and local area enterprise promotion criteria. Bidders must meet the local SMME sub-contracting requirement of 20% and local supplier preference of 10%. Bidders must attend the compulsory Teams meeting on 25 August 2026 at 11:00.
