Supply, install, train and deliver fire engine truck equipment – national government tender

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender number and description. The closing time is 11:00 on 30 June 2025. Bids must be deposited in the bid box at the Supply Chain Management offices, 61 Jorissen Street, Johannesburg. No late bids will be accepted. Bids must be submitted in the prescribed format, with all required forms completed and signed. Returnable forms include: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), SBD 8 (Declaration of Bidder's Past SCM Practices), SBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination), and a signed Authority to Sign.

Bids will be evaluated in two stages. Stage 1: Mandatory compliance check - all bidders must meet the minimum eligibility criteria, including valid CIDB grading and B-BBEE status. Stage 2: Price and preference points - 80 points for price and 20 points for B-BBEE status. Minimum qualifying score: 50 points for price and 10 points for B-BBEE. Only bidders achieving the minimum scores will be considered for award.

Pricing must be in South African Rand, inclusive of all taxes. No bid security is required. A performance guarantee of 10% of the contract value is required within 10 days of award. Payment terms: 30 days from receipt of invoice. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum annual turnover of R5 million.
