Scope: supply, install, test, certify and document a complete LAN structured cabling infrastructure of 120 Category 6 (Cat6) network points at the NRWDI Midrand Building. Site survey and installation drawing with locations of the 120 points are already done. Materials to supply: Cat6 U/UTP cabling (solid bare copper, 4 twisted pairs, blue, compliant with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801), RJ45 keystone jacks, faceplates, surface or flush wall boxes, patch panels, network rack accessories, cable management accessories, conduits, cable trays where required, cable labels, and consumables. Installation: pull and route all cables, install patch panels, terminate at workstation outlets and communication racks, manage cables, install rack cable managers, and label all cabling infrastructure. Testing: test every installed point with certified cable testing equipment, verify continuity, attenuation and crosstalk, certify compliance with recognised structured cabling standards, and rectify any failed points. Documentation and handover: as-built drawings, cable schedules, patch panel schedules, test certificates, labelling schedules, warranty documentation and a final commissioning report. Appendices A and B provide the office layouts (ground and first floor).
