Returnable Documents: Returnable Documents means all the documents, Sections and Annexures, as listed in the tables below. Notice to bidders

1. Responses to RFQ

Responses to this RFQ [Quotations] must not include documents or reference relating to any other quotation

or proposal. Any additional conditions must be embodied in an accompanying letter.

Proposals must reach PRASA before the closing hour on the date shown on SBD1 above and must be

enclosed in a sealed envelope.

standards are met. A certificate of competence should be awarded upon

successful completion of the course.

2.1 The service provider must be a registered training institution or individual with

valid accreditation from a recognized telecommunications or technical training authority.

2.2 The service provider must be certified for the Fiber Optic Technicians with FOA, COFI-SA,

SAQA, or equivalent.

2.3 They must have a minimum of 3 years’ field experience in underground fiber optic

installation.

2.4 They must be accredited to train and assess candidates or hold Assessor and

Moderator credentials.

2. Formula for procurement of goods and services

• Warranty: items/services must be free from defects for one year from acceptance.
• Indemnity: supplier indemnifies PRASA against claims from negligence, IP infringement, or breach of statutory duty.
• Subcontracting: requires PRASA's prior approval; the successful bidder remains liable for performance.
• Rejection: PRASA may reject non-conforming items/services and require replacement or re-work.
• Payment: within 30 days of receipt of correct tax invoice.
