The brief addresses a marketing challenge: insufficient authentic content about South Africa, poor rankings on key travel attributes (except wildlife), and perception of South Africa as unwelcoming and intimidating to African visitors. The overarching content position is to create and share authentic South African stories that provide access to real information, build positivity, create desire, and drive consideration to travel to South Africa. The brand essence is 'Breaking New Ground', positioning travel to South Africa as expanding one's world through immersive exploration. The campaign must move the audience from 'is it possible' to 'everything's possible'.
