Scope: Supply and delivery of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in bulk and 48kg cylinders to Mountain Rise Crematorium (Northdale, Pietermaritzburg), and Ripening Gas (10% Ethylene, 90% Nitrogen) in 9kg–13kg cylinders to Municipal Market (Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg). Contract period: 3 years from award date. Delivery: Within 24 hours of Purchase Order issuance. Penalties: R500.00 per calendar day (incl. VAT) for late delivery. Insurance: Public Liability Insurance (minimum R1,000,000 per claim) required for transportation. Compliance: Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act standards for gas transportation. Discounts for early payment may be considered in adjudication. Contractors must have a bank account in the legal name matching the Tax Clearance Certificate. Price adjustment: Formula-based escalation allowed if specified (base index: June 2026). Claims must be submitted before 31 July for the prior financial year (ending 30 June). Forward cover: Contractors must include forward foreign exchange cover costs for imported goods in the price schedule.

Mandatory: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and Tax Compliance Status Verification PIN (SARS). CSD registration required (Supplier Number and Unique Registration Reference Number). B-BBEE: Points claimed for Black Owned Enterprise (10 pts), Youth Owned Enterprise (5 pts), or Local Business (5 pts) require proof (CSD, CIPC, utility bills/lease agreements). Joint Ventures/Consortiums: Submit Tax Compliance Status Verification PINs, CSD reports, and signed declarations (Interest, Past SCM Practices, Independent Bid Determination) for all parties.
