Phase 1 – Functionality / Technical Evaluation (100 points):

• Assesses Technical, Performance, Quality, and Risk criteria.
• Bidders must demonstrate an acceptable technical solution in their response to the technical templates; failure to do so results in rejection.
• Only bidders scoring above the set threshold and meeting the highest-scoring bid's threshold proceed to Phase 2.

Phase 2 – 80/20 Preference Points System:

• Price: maximum 80 points.
• B-BBEE status level: maximum 20 points, allocated as follows:

Level 1 = 20, Level 2 = 18, Level 3 = 14, Level 4 = 12, Level 5 = 8, Level 6 = 6, Level 7 = 4, Level 8 = 2, Non-compliant = 0.

• B-BBEE points are only awarded if proof of B-BBEE status is submitted with the bid.

Supply 15 units of Parker Compumotor E-DC microstepping drives for precision motion control. The drives must:

• Be suitable for precision motion control applications.
• Be electrically identical to the installed Parker E-DC drive.
• Be compatible with the current mounting arrangement without modifications.
• Interface with existing terminal wiring without rewiring.
• Be used with Heidenhain encoders for control of linear and rotation stages.
• If new units are unavailable, refurbished units meeting OEM specifications and including a standard warranty will be considered.
• Full OEM specifications are provided in Appendix A of the RFQ.

Necsa's quality policies require compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. The drive must meet OEM specifications and be suitable for precision motion control. Refurbished units must include a standard warranty.

Prices must be quoted inclusive of all taxes, fixed and firm. Include freight, insurance until acceptance, duties (if applicable), and disbursements. The quotation must be completed in full; incomplete quotes may be disqualified. Payment is according to Necsa's General Conditions of Purchase.
