Bids must be submitted in a sealed A4 envelope clearly stating the bid number and name of tender, deposited into Tender box 1 at the reception area on the ground floor of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (No. 1 Lower Long Street, Convention Square, Foreshore, Cape Town).

Closing date and time: Wednesday, 09 September 2026 at 12:00. Late proposals and proposals submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted.

Tender documents may be obtained electronically free of charge by email request, or downloaded from the CTICC website (www.cticc.co.za). Physical copies can be purchased in cash at a non-refundable fee of R200 per document from the supply chain office.

Bid documents must be completed in accordance with the terms and conditions stated in them; failure to do so may invalidate the bid.

Returnable forms include SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), SBD 8 (Declaration of Bidder's Past SCM Practices), SBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Bid Determination), and any other schedules stated in the tender document.

Physical tender documents can be purchased in cash at a non-refundable fee of R200 per document and can be collected directly from the supply chain office. Documents can also be requested electronically free of charge by email, or downloaded from the CTICC website. Completed original bid documents must be placed in a sealed A4 envelope clearly stating the bid number and name of tender, and deposited into Tender box 1 at the reception area on the ground floor of the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Evaluation uses the 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price, 15 for B-BBEE status, 5 for locality.

Bidders must achieve a minimum functionality score of 70 out of 100 to qualify for further evaluation.

Bidders must be registered on the CTICC Database or the Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to the adjudication date to be responsive.

The tender is for the provision of media monitoring services for the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

Suitably qualified, experienced, and registered companies are invited to submit proposals.

Bidders must be registered on the CTICC Database or the Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to the adjudication date.

Bidders must submit a valid tax clearance (SARS TCS or tax pin) and a B-BBEE certificate or affidavit.

All mandatory forms (e.g., SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9, and any other returnable schedules) must be completed and submitted.

Closing date and time for bid: Wednesday, 09 September 2026 at 12:00. All bids received will be opened in public. Late proposals and proposals submitted by e-mail or fax will under no circumstances be accepted. The CTICC reserves the right to withdraw any proposal, invitation and/or to re-advertise or to reject any proposals or to accept any part of it. The CTICC does not bind itself to accepting the lowest bid or to award a contract to the bidder who scores the highest number of points.

Tenders will be evaluated on functionality criteria as stated in the tender document. The minimum qualification score for functionality is 70. The scoring mechanism is 80/20: 80 points for price, 15 for B-BBEE, 5 for locality.
