Description: provision of drone internal inspection services of

PURPOSE: The purpose of this scope is to obtain drone-based internal inspection
services for LPG spheres, covering 51VS161 / 51VS163 and 51VS164 as a controlled
alternative to direct internal visual vessel entry, providing PetroSA with complete visual
records, defect evidence, and inspection reporting suitable for technical review and
acceptance.
1.1 The Supplier shall supply all labour, supervision, materials, consumables
and equipment necessary for the satisfactory execution of Drone Inspection
Services as and when requested by PetroSA.
Refer to the 51VS LPG sphere sketch attached to this scope of work for the general
arrangement, access location, landing/platform arrangement, and dimensional
reference applicable to the inspection area.
The diagram is provided for orientation and planning purposes only. The Supplier
shall verify access, clearances, and site conditions before commencing the drone
inspection.
a. Drone inspection shall be conducted on the internal surface of the sphere.
b. Drone inspection shall be conducted as a controlled alternative to direct
internal visual vessel entry, subject to PetroSA approval, applicable
permits, and approved risk controls.
c. The drone shall capture clear visual evidence of the internal sphere
surface and identify visible defects, anomalies, obstructions, coating
condition, corrosion indications, or other reportable findings.
d. The drone shall gain entry via the manhole at the top of the sphere and be
retrieved from the same entrance point.
e. The Supplier shall record the entire accessible internal vessel surface and
confirm any inaccessible areas, limitations, or deviations in the final
inspection report.
1.2 Equipment
The Supplier shall supply all the necessary equipment, consumables and personnel
to undertake these services.
