Tenders must be submitted on the official tender documentation only. The bid document must be completed in full using black permanent ink. Emailed and late tenders will not be accepted. Returnable documents include: SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid), SBD 4 (Bidder's Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), Form of Offer, Certificate of Authority for Signatory, and a Joint Venture Agreement where applicable. Proof of tender document purchase must be in the bidding entity's name. The compulsory site briefing certificate must be original, signed and stamped; copies will not be accepted.

Bidders must hold a cidb contractor grading of 5GB or higher. Preferences are offered to tenderers with 5GB or higher. The Preference Points Claim Form (SBD 6.1) must be completed and signed in terms of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.

The scope is the eradication of pit latrines at Mhlakothi Secondary School and Ndabankulu Primary School, under Umzinyathi District, KwaZulu-Natal. The contractor will be appointed by the Independent Development Trust.

Bidders must complete the Bills of Quantities in full, with a correct 15% VAT calculation.

Mandatory requirements: valid and active CIDB registration certificate (Grade 5GB or higher); valid and active COIDA certificate from DOL/RMA/FEM; valid Public Liability Insurance cover of R5 million or above; proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration (full report, consolidated for JV parties); valid Tax Clearance with Tax Compliance Pin Certificate (TCC); CIPC registration certificate with original certified copies of ID for all members; fully completed and signed SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1; completed Form of Offer and Certificate of Authority for Signatory; Joint Venture Agreement signed by both parties where applicable; attendance of compulsory site briefing meeting with original signed and stamped certificate.
