Organizations with suitable qualifications and experience are sourced to submit proposals for:

Telecommunications Services across Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo offices The contract for

the Telecommunication services for Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) will run for the

period of 1 month. Proposals are to be submitted in line with terms of reference stipulated below.

The current Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo (JCPZ) logical and physical network architecture

can be described as being partially centralised some of the logical components that make the

JCPZ network infrastructure have been converged and are functioning in unified manner to each

other. Bidders are requested to propose and implement a more converged infrastructure and

centralised network model, allowing service aggregation catering. for both technical and business

efficiencies. JCPZ should be able to measure the service against the service levels to be agreed

upon.

JCPZ seeks to identify and appoint suitable service provider for supply, installation and

management of telecommunication services for the duration of the contract.

Objectives

The broad objectives of this RFP include:

To provide prospective service provider with adequate information to understand and respond to

JCPZ requirements for a new telecommunications contract.

To ensure uniformity in responses received from each prospective service provider
