The tender is for consulting engineering services for routine road maintenance of national routes in the Northern Cape Province. The projects are:

• Contract X.005-130-2026/1F: National Route R27 Section 10 to 11 (Groot Lemoenkop West (km 60.63) to Keimoes (km 74.61)) and National Route N14 Section 3 to 4 (Kakamas (km 0.00) to Olyvenhoutsdrift (km 22.55)).
• Contract X.005-131-2026/1F: National Route R31 Section 1 (Rietfontein (km 0.00) to Askham (km 86.44)) and R360 Section 1 to 2 (Upington (km 0.00) to Twee Rivieren (km 59.43)).
• Contract X.005-132-2026/1F: National Route 10 Sections 11 to 12 (Boegoegberg (km 59.439) to Nakop Border (km 130.309)) and National Route 14 Sections 4 to 5 (Olyvenhoutsdrift (km 22.554) to Zonderhuis (km 61.114)).

Services include design, construction documentation, and supervision of up to 60 months. The scope includes geotechnical incident management and monitoring as part of the SANRAL Slope Management System (SMS), safety inspections at 12-month intervals (6-month intervals for new structures for the first 24 months), and data capture into the SANRAL ITIS system using SARDS Desktop software.
