The ethekwini municipality seeks a service provider to deliver interment, cremation, exhumation and assisted burial services for indigent persons within the municipal area for a 36-month period. The successful tenderer shall be bound to provide any quantities stipulated in the specification. The Municipality may negotiate final terms with preferred bidders, provided no second or unfair opportunity, no detriment to other tenderers, and no higher price than the tender as submitted. The Municipality may cancel the tender at any time before award. Payment will be made only to the Supplier; factoring arrangements will not be accepted. Appeals may be lodged within 14 days of the decision or action, in writing to the Municipality.
