The road accident fund (raf) is seeking market information from original equipment manufacturers (oems) or their accredited partners/resellers for the redevelopment and support of its website/portal over a 24-month period. The current static site runs on sharepoint subscription edition and is hosted on aws; the raf requires a modern, secure, scalable, cloud-based, technology-agnostic solution with a cms, integration capabilities, intelligent features, and specific use cases such as a claim eligibility tool, document submission platform, claim status monitoring, and an accident prevention hub. This is a request for information (RFI) for market research only, not a competitive bid, and responses must be submitted by email before the closing time. The most consequential consideration is that only oems or their accredited partners/resellers are eligible to respond.
Eligibility: Only original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or their accredited partners/resellers may respond; respondents must indicate their category (OEM or accredited partner/reseller).
Mandatory registrations: Bidders must be legally registered, listed on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD), and have tax affairs in order at submission.
Disqualification: Companies or directors on the National Treasury registers of Restricted Suppliers or Tender Defaulters are automatically disqualified.
Closing deadline: Responses must be emailed to [email protected], attention SCM – Demand Management, by 12 November 2026 at 11:00 AM; late responses are not considered.
Returnable information: Submit a company profile, relevant experience, at least two comparable implementation references, a complete response to the business requirements (Section 4), proposed solution architecture, human resources plan, indicative implementation approach, indicative commercial information, and presentation/demonstration material.
Pricing: Provide an indicative, itemized, non-binding cost breakdown using the specified table format showing Year 1, Year 2, and Total prices with VAT included; state whether prices include VAT, quote in South African rand, and specify validity period.
No briefing: There is no compulsory briefing session (marked N/A); all enquiries must be submitted in writing via email before the submission date.
