Nmisa requires an external service provider to proofread, standardise the formatting of, and quality-review its board and committee charters, each estimated at 12 to 20 pages. The work must be completed within 30 days of appointment and delivered as marked-up documents, clean final word versions and a consolidated quality review report. Bidders must score at least 70 out of 100 on functionality before price and b-bbee are weighed under the 80/20 system, and quotations must reach nmisa by email by 9 october 2026 at 15:00.
Closing and submission: responses must reach NMISA by 9 October 2026 at 15:00, submitted by email to [email protected]; late submissions are not considered and the 8MB mailbox limit means larger proposals must be split across several emails.
Functionality threshold: a minimum of 70 out of 100 points is required to progress; the 100 points are split across approach and methodology (25), company profile (15), competency of team (20), contactable references (10) and demonstrated relevant experience (30).
Experience and personnel: at least 5 years' experience in proofreading, editing, quality assurance review, governance documentation, board charters or policies is required, and CVs of the team assigned to the project must be attached — 4 or more years' experience per CV scores the full 20 points.
References and portfolio: contactable reference letters on original client letterheads, signed by an authorised client employee and confirming similar work completed, are scored — 5 or more compliant letters earn the full 10 points — alongside a portfolio covering charters, board charters, policies, governance frameworks, editing and proofreading assignments and quality assurance of corporate documents.
Mandatory documents: a Central Supplier Database summary showing the supplier registration number and unique supplier registration number must accompany the quotation or it will not be accepted; SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 must be completed (non-completion is non-compliance) and a B-BBEE certificate is required where the price exceeds R2 000.00.
Quotation format: submit on company letterhead with every page signed by the responsible person, a VAT-inclusive cost breakdown, the delivery period stated, and a 30-day validity period.
Preference points and payment: the 80/20 system applies with 80 points for price and 20 for B-BBEE status level; no proof of B-BBEE status means no preference points are claimed, and payment is made within 30 days of a substantiated invoice against agreed milestones. No compulsory briefing session or site visit is specified; enquiries must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
