Standby and continuity: medical and safety personnel must remain on site throughout setup, event programme and breakdown until participants have departed; a replacement ambulance must be provided immediately if the dedicated ambulance leaves with a patient.
Preference points: 80/20 system applies (price 80 points, specific goals 20 points); specific goals include local service provider (Umkhanyakude District or uMfolozi Local Municipalities), at least 51% Black-owned, woman-owned, youth-owned, and people living with disabilities ownership – each worth 2 points (80/20 system).
