Evaluation is in two stages.

• The service provider must be aligned to a relevant professional body, e.g. QTCO/SETA accreditation.

• Bidders failing any pre-qualifying criterion will be disqualified immediately.

Stage 2 – Evaluation:

• The 80/20 preference point system applies (price 80 points, specific goals 20 points).
• The successful bidder will be the one scoring the highest points, though Vaal Central Water may award to a bidder not scoring the highest on reasonable justifiable grounds.
• No points for specific goals will be allocated unless the required supporting documents are submitted.
