Bidders must submit their bids in the Municipal tender Box before or at 14:00 on Friday, 04 September 2026. Bids must be clearly marked "APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL SECURITY SERVICES AT THE EILAND HOLIDAY RESORT, ROSE PARK & REITZPARK UNTIL 31 JANUARY 2017". Late bids will not be accepted. Bids per fax or E-mail will also not be considered, only the original signed document will be accepted.

The following forms, Summary of items and bid price, MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MDB 7.1, MBD 8 and MBD 9, must be completed.

Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the applicable Preferential Point Scoring System as set out in the Councils Supply Chain Management Policy. Bidders must be registered at National Treasury’s Central Suppliers Data Base (CSD) and proof must be submitted.

The following Security services or activities are needed: (a) Protecting and safeguarding a property through Guard and Patrol; (b) Providing a reactive or response service in connection with the safeguarding of property; (c) Providing a service aimed at ensuring order and safety on the premises used for sporting, recreational entertainment or similar purposes as well as handling the access control; (d) Managing, controlling and supervising the rendering of the services referred to in paragraphs (a) to (c) to Dawid Kruiper Municipality.

Bidders are required to quote prices according to the price schedules and specifications. Price(s) quoted must be valid for at least 120 days from bid closing date. Price(s) quoted must be firm and must be inclusive of VAT. All prices must include delivery cost, accommodation and travel cost.

Bidders must be registered at National Treasury’s Central Suppliers Data Base (CSD) and proof must be submitted. Bidders must also be tax compliant and have a valid tax clearance certificate or tax pin from SARS. The Security Company who render the Security Services must be registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulation). Proof of registration must be submitted with the tender.

The municipality takes no responsibility for any injury or harm to security officer appointed by the specific services provider. In the case of any damage or loss to the property the company will be held responsible for the costs thereof.

The supplier shall not assign, in whole or in part, its obligations to perform under the contract, except with the purchaser’s prior written consent. The supplier shall notify the purchaser in writing of all subcontracts awarded under this contract if not already specified in the bid.

The Security Company who render the Security Services must be registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulation). Proof of registration must be submitted with the tender. The Security Officers who render the Security Services must be registered with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulation). Proof of registration must be submitted with the tender.
