Evaluation in three stages:

Supply and delivery of one (1) Class 1 Impulse Integrated Sound Level Meter (SLM) for the Municipal Health Services Section, used for noise control enforcement under the Gauteng Noise Control Regulation, 1999.

Mandatory SLM features:

• Digital processing for display and signal (analog not accepted).
• Real Time Analysis with 1/3 octave band resolution and live display of spectra (serial/sequential filters not accepted).
• Store 1/3 octave spectra for later analysis; display Leq, LAeq, or LA max values.
• Time History over programmable preset intervals; auto data-logging.

Market analysis: The City may conduct a market analysis and negotiate a market-related price with the highest-scoring bidder. If no agreement, it may negotiate with the second and third highest scorers, or cancel the quotation.
