Trust System Guide
Understand trust badges, tender source evidence, and verification signals
Overview
The trust system helps users understand platform verification, source traceability, and tender-data confidence. Trust signals are intended to make procurement information easier to evaluate, especially when users need to verify where a notice came from.
Platform Trust Center
The public Trust & Verification area explains Tenders-SA platform identity, access security, hosting and data-handling posture, and public verification badges. It is separate from your private company compliance documents.
Tender Source Evidence
Tender pages may show source evidence such as source links, publication context, organization details, dates, downloaded document references, or extraction metadata where available. Use these signals to confirm that an opportunity is traceable to an official or known procurement source.
Trust Badges
Trust badges summarize verification themes such as platform identity, data traceability, secure access, and B-BBEE status where applicable. A badge is a guide for interpretation; it does not replace checking the underlying source.
1
Review the Tender Page
Check organization, closing date, reference number, documents, and source evidence.
2
Open Source Links
Use the issuer or source link where available to confirm the original publication and submission instructions.
3
Check Your Own Readiness
Use the document vault and Readiness Assessment to confirm your business can satisfy the returnables.
4
Keep a Submission Record
Save source instructions, submitted documents, delivery proof, and communication with the issuer.
Do not rely on badges alone: Tender source evidence helps with confidence, but the issuer's official documents and submission channel remain the final authority.
