Only banking institutions duly registered and licensed in South Africa under the Banks Act, 1990 are eligible. Must comply with National Credit Act, 2005. Must have established local branch/agency network with necessary infrastructure. Must submit all mandatory supporting documents including B-BBEE certification.

• The contract is for the provision of comprehensive banking services to the City of Mbombela.
• The successful bidder will be appointed for a period of five (5) years from the contract commencement date.
• Bidders must demonstrate an established local branch/agency network with the necessary infrastructure, systems, and facilities to meet the City's banking, transactional, and service delivery requirements.

• Only banking institutions registered and licensed in South Africa under the Banks Act, 1990, and compliant with the National Credit Act, 2005, are eligible.
• Mandatory returnable documents include:

• Copy of Tax Compliance Status.
• Certified copy of B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for B-BBEE.
• Current municipal rates and taxes statements from the relevant local authority, or proof of residence from a tribal authority, or a lease agreement accompanied by the lessor's up-to-date municipal rates and taxes statements for both the business and active directors (including JV/consortium members).
• Full CSD registration report (summary report not accepted).
• Copy of company registration certificate.

• Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.

• The tender outcome will be published on the City's website in accordance with the Municipal Finance Management Act and Supply Chain Management Regulations.
