The department of environmental affairs and development planning (dea&dp) of the western cape government invites bids for professional services to develop a comprehensive soil organic carbon (soc) monitoring, reporting, and assessment system supporting land-based climate mitigation. The successful bidder will develop a baseline and monitoring methodology for soil organic carbon, assess mitigation opportunities, deliver spatial data products (maps and data), and provide capacity building and training to departmental officials and stakeholders.
