• The project is for the new school replacement at Nhlalwane Primary School, UGU District, KwaZulu-Natal (EMIS No: 500229733).
• The bidder must subcontract a minimum of 30% of the construction works value (excl. VAT) to designated groups: Women, Youth, People with Disabilities, or Black People.
• The 30% subcontracting is a mandatory condition of tender.
• Subcontractors may be selected from CIDB-registered suppliers who are also registered on the CSD.
• The bidder must provide Public Liability Insurance Cover or a Letter of Intent specific to the project for a minimum of R20 million.
• The contractor must achieve the Contract Skills Development Goal (CSDG) as per the Standard for Developing Skills through Infrastructure Contracts.

• Bidders are evaluated on experience and resources in Stage 1 (functionality).

• Preferences are offered to tenderers with a CIDB grading of 8GB or higher.
