Scope: Supply and delivery of irrigation pumps and equipment to Bergrivier Municipality, Piketberg, Western Cape, from date of appointment until 30 June 2027. Items required:

• Item A: Irrigation Machine A (Water Canon) – minimum requirements: vertical galvanised hose reel, galvanised chassis on 4 x 600mm wheels, 200m x 5mm galvanised cable, 100m x 65mm Oroflex lay flat hose, 2 x part circle sprinklers with 3 nozzle sets, wetted diameter 50m, 200m travel distance, max capacity 35 m³/h @ 3 bar, 25m radius, 10Ha capacity per 7-day cycle. Brochure/specifications must be attached.
• Item B: Irrigation Machine B (Water/Pool Pump Commercial Use) – Badu Resort 70 or equivalent 3-phase pump. Minimum requirements: equivalent to > P1 3.8kW, P2 3.0kW, self-priming minimum 1.5m above water level, flow rate > 70 m³/h at 10m head, inlet/outlet 110mm, total max dynamic head > 15m, minimum 3-year (36-month) warranty registered in municipality's name. • Item C: Lay Flat Hose C – Oroflex 100m x 65mm diameter. Specifications must be attached.
• Item D: Lay Flat Hose D – Oroflex 100m x 50mm diameter. Specifications must be attached.
• Item E: Lay Flat Hose E – Oroflex 60m x 25mm diameter. Specifications must be attached.

Bidder must be an authorised agent/reseller with experience in the industry. Three reference letters (dated within last 4 years) for supply and delivery of similar irrigation pumps and equipment (water canon and pumps) must be provided, including value of order. Delivery must be within 6 weeks from order date; failure attracts a penalty of R1,500 per day. Municipality reserves the right to adjust scope/quantities to stay within budget. Pricing is on a rate basis; final bid price is the sum of all subtotals (VAT inclusive).

Delivery to Bergrivier Municipality, Piketberg, Western Cape, must be completed within 6 weeks from date of order issuance. A firm delivery period must be indicated in the quotation. Failure to deliver within the stipulated period attracts a penalty of R1,500 per day.
