Appointment of a service provider to repair and service window blinds for Public Protector South Africa – Bloemfontein Office. Scope: Repair and service of twelve (12) vertical blinds (127mm) as follows: Boardroom (2 blinds + bottom string), Office 706 (2 blinds + bottom string), Office 708 (1 blind), Office 709 (1 blind + bottom string), Office 710 (1 blind + bottom string), Office 711 (1 blind + bottom string), Office 712 (1 blind + bottom string, plus 2 blinds service), Office 713 (1 blind + bottom string). Blinds for repair/service are available for re-use. Bidders must submit quotation on letterhead as per clause 3 of the specification.

Bidders must prepare for possible presentation or practical demonstration if required by PPSA. The bidder's offer remains binding during the validity period. Bidders must confirm they can deliver the contract on quoted prices.

Bidders must submit company profile. PPSA may conduct background checks including FICA verification on the bidding entity and its directors/trustees/shareholders/members.

Bidders must quote in South African Rand, inclusive of VAT and all deliverables. Pricing must be all-inclusive and transparent. Prices must cover all items in the scope of works. The 80/20 preference point system applies: 80 points for price, 20 for specific goals. Bidders must submit quotation on letterhead. Prices must be valid for 60 days. The bidder indemnifies PPSA for costs/damages from breach. PPSA not liable for bidder's participation costs. South African law governs; exclusive jurisdiction of SA courts. PPSA reserves the right to disqualify bidders for non-compliance, incomplete information, fraudulent or misleading information, or failure to comply with specifications. PPSA may cancel the bid, negotiate with preferred bidders, award in part or full, or not accept the lowest price. Bidders must not canvass PPSA employees before award.
