Evaluation uses the 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals. Only bidders that pass mandatory compliance proceed to price and specific goals evaluation. Specific goals points are based on black ownership: 50% or more black ownership = 20 points, less than 50% = 10 points, 0% = 0 points. Proof of B-BBEE certificate, company registration, identification documentation and CSD report must be submitted to claim these points.

Scope: safe dismantling, relocation and reinstallation of meeting pods at Iziko Museums offices. Pods: two 4-seater booths (2000x2000x2200mmH) with LED lighting (not dimmable) and one 2-seater booth (2000x1000x2200mmH) with a 500x500mm worktop including power cut out. Work includes: site inspection before starting; dismantling pods on the 1st and 2nd floors; transporting components to the 5th floor; reassembling at designated locations; reconnecting and testing electrical, lighting, ventilation and integrated components; ensuring pods are structurally secure and damage-free; removing waste and leaving the area clean; complying with OHS requirements; providing a minimum 6-month workmanship guarantee.

The service provider must: conduct a site inspection before starting; dismantle pods on the 1st and 2nd floors; transport components to the 5th floor; reassemble at designated locations; reconnect and test all electrical, lighting, ventilation and integrated components; ensure pods are structurally secure and free from damage; remove waste and leave the area clean; comply with OHS requirements; provide a minimum 6-month workmanship guarantee.

Pricing schedule items: 1) Dismantling of existing 2 x 4-seater and 1 x 2-seater meeting pods; 2) Relocation of pod components from 1st and 2nd floors to 5th floor; 3) Reassembly and installation at designated locations; 4) Reconnection and testing of electrical, lighting, ventilation and integrated components; 5) Final cleaning, waste removal and OHS compliance; 6) Total evaluated bid price including VAT (sum of items 1 to 5). The total evaluated bid price is used for price evaluation under the 80/20 system. Only amounts captured on the table are considered. No additional costs will be paid unless disclosed and approved in writing. Bidders must attach a breakdown of assumptions, resource categories and rates.

Mandatory administrative documents: CSD report with supplier number, company details and tax status verification pin; detailed pricing structure on company letterhead inclusive of VAT, disbursements and escalations if applicable; valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; signed RFQ document; proof of valid public liability cover of at least R1,000,000. Failure to supply any of these may lead to the quote not being considered. Annexure A (SBD 4 – Bidder's Disclosure) and Annexure B (SBD 6.1 – Preference Points Claim Form) must be completed and signed.

The service provider must comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements during execution of the work.
