Supply and delivery of goods/services – mbombela local municipality (80/20 preference system, csd registration required)

Bids must be submitted on the official forms provided (not re-typed) and deposited in the tender box at No. 1 Nel Street, Mbombela Civic Centre, next to the main entrance, before the closing time on the advertised closing date.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide the CSD full report (summary report not accepted) along with a certified copy of the company registration certificate.

All certified copies must be originally certified, not older than three months, and made by a commissioner of oaths; failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification.

The 80/20 preference point system applies: 80 points for price and 20 points for B-BBEE status; bidders claiming preference points must submit a sworn affidavit (for EMEs and QSEs) or valid B-BBEE certificate.

The bidder must have no outstanding municipal rates and taxes or service charges for the business or its directors; proof of payment must be submitted, and the municipality may reject the bid if arrears exist.

All key personnel CVs must be accompanied by certified copies of qualifications and identity documents (certified copies not older than three months), and the bid must include a company profile and any required samples, as failure to submit samples will render the bid non-responsive.

The total bid price must be reflected on the form of offer and signed by an authorized signatory; if the bidder is a JV/Consortium, each party must submit separate returnable documents and a detailed JV/Consortium agreement.
