Zululand district municipality invites tenders for the provision of close protection (vip) security services for a period of thirty-six (36) months. The tender documents are available for collection from 07 to 18 september 2026 during office hours (08h00 to 15h00, working days) at the municipality. A non-refundable fee of r1 900.00 Is required for the tender document, payable by eft to absa bank. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the tender number and closing date, deposited into the tender box at zululand district municipality, lot B-400 gagane street, ulundi, by 07 october 2026 at 12h00. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders may only be submitted on the issued tender documentation. The municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. The evaluation process has three stages: responsiveness, functionality (minimum 70 points required), and financial offer with specific goals. Bidders must be registered with psira and hold the required psira grading. The contract is for 36 months.
