General conditions:

• The quoted price must remain valid for at least 90 days.
• Brand South Africa may extend the closing date under exceptional circumstances.
• Submissions and related information will not be returned.
• Brand South Africa is not bound to accept any quotation and may declare the process closed without appointing a bidder.
• All claims made in a proposal may be validated.
• Bidders bear their own costs of preparing and submitting proposals.
• The successful bidder will work under the supervision of a Brand South Africa representative and must comply with the organisation's Code of Conduct and guidelines.

Disqualifying omissions: SARS PIN or tax clearance certificate, National Treasury CSD report, completed and signed SBD forms, completed and signed POPIA consent, quotation on company letterhead.

Proposals are assessed using the 80/20 preference point system under the PPPFA Regulations. Price carries 80 points (detailed budget breakdown) and specific goals carry 20 points. Specific goals points are claimed via SBD 6.1, with proof being a CSD report and certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. Missing proof results in zero points for specific goals. Brand South Africa may request further information.

Mandatory evaluation:

• Bidders must provide five reference letters on clients' letterheads showing experience in data analysis training.
• The proposed facilitator's CV must demonstrate at least 3 years' technical and professional experience in data analysis training.

Scope — data analysis training for one Brand South Africa employee.

Course objectives:

• Equip the delegate to extract actionable insights from raw data.
• Enable evidence-based decision-making rather than reliance on intuition.
• Support solving complex problems and optimising business workflows.

Required course content:

• Communicating insights clearly through written reports, presentations and visual displays.
• Solving real-world problems using data-driven approaches and analytical thinking.
• Interpreting analytical results and making evidence-based recommendations.
• Data-driven decision-making: interpreting complex data for strategic business improvement.
• Industry application: applying analytical techniques to real-world datasets across finance, marketing and operations.

Deliverables:

• Course delivered online or in person.
• Duration of 2–3 days.
• One delegate to attend.
• Certificate of completion issued to the attendee on completion.

The training course must cover: communicating insights through reports, presentations and visual displays; solving real-world problems with data-driven approaches; interpreting results and making evidence-based recommendations; data-driven decision-making for business improvement; and applying analytical techniques to real-world datasets in finance, marketing and operations. The course may be delivered online or in person, over 2–3 days, for one delegate, with a certificate of completion issued.

Pricing format:

• Complete the pricing schedule for training services for one attendee.
• Line prices are VAT-exclusive; the total price is VAT-inclusive.
• Provide a detailed cost breakdown on company letterhead.

Payment terms:

• Payment within 30 days of a valid, substantiated invoice for work done to Brand South Africa's satisfaction.
• Payments made against completed milestones or deliverables as per the project implementation plan agreed at inception.

Preference points proof:

Experience proof:

• Five reference letters on clients' letterheads.
• Facilitator CV showing 3 years' data analysis training experience.

Brand South Africa may extend the closing date under exceptional circumstances. Proposals and related information will not be returned. The adjudication process does not commit Brand South Africa to proceed with any proposal. The quoted price must be valid for at least 90 days. Brand South Africa may amend the RFQ document; changes will be communicated to firms that responded. No reliance may be placed on information from other sources. Submissions are treated in strict confidence. Brand South Africa may decline to enter into any relationship and will not correspond about submissions. If no proposal is accepted, the process may be closed and Brand South Africa may proceed on a different basis or not appoint anyone. Bidders bear their own costs. Brand South Africa may validate all claims made in proposals.

The successful bidder will work under the supervision of a Brand South Africa representative and must comply with Brand South Africa's Code of Conduct and organisational guidelines.

Bidders must provide proof of experience in data analysis training via five reference letters on clients' letterheads. The proposed facilitator must have at least 3 years' experience in data analysis training.
