Submit a sealed envelope marked with the tenderer's name and address, tender number and title, tender box number (245) and closing date, placed in Tender Box 245 at the Tender & Quotation Box Office, 2nd Floor (Concourse Level), Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town, before 10:00 on 14 September 2026. If the envelope is too large or the box is full, ask at the public counter (Tender Distribution Office) for alternative instructions. Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders are not accepted. Tenders must be submitted on the issued documentation; printed Schedules of Rates in the same format as issued electronically may be submitted as stated in the Tender Data. Returnable documents include the Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1), Tender Preference Claim Form (Table 1), and all documents listed in Part C5 (List of Returnable Documents and Returnable Schedules).

Tenders are evaluated in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations and the City of Cape Town's Supply Chain Management Policy. Preference points are offered for HDI and/or RDP specific goals; bidders must submit documentary proof (e.g., company registration certification, Central Supplier Database report, BBBEE certificate, financial statements, commissioned sworn affidavits) to support claims for specific goals. Bidders must hold a CIDB contractor grading designation: Category A: 2 SH (above R500,000 up to R1,000,000); Category B: 3 SH (above R1,000,000 up to R3,000,000); Category C: 4 SH (above R3,000,000 up to R6,000,000).

Framework contract for dune rehabilitation, vegetation management and maintenance for the City of Cape Town. Works are categorised by value: Category A (2 SH): above R500,000 up to R1,000,000; Category B (3 SH): above R1,000,000 up to R3,000,000; Category C (4 SH): above R3,000,000 up to R6,000,000. The contract period is 36 months from commencement. Scope includes dune rehabilitation, vegetation management and maintenance as described in Part C3 (Scope of Work) and specifications in Part C3.6.

Non-refundable tender fee of R300.00 payable by cash or EFT in favour of the City of Cape Town, required on collection of tender documents. Pricing data includes Pricing Assumptions (C2.1) and Schedule of Rates (C2.2). Performance Guarantee (C1.3) and Advance Payment Guarantee (C1.4) forms are required. Insurance Broker's Warranty (C1.7) is required. Occupational Health and Safety Agreement (C1.5) and Protection of the Environment Declaration (C1.6) are required.

Bidders must be registered on Supplier Databases as described in the tender conditions; non-registered bidders may submit but must register if requested in writing.
