Mkhondo local municipality is establishing a panel of contractors for general building maintenance services (CIDB grading 1–5 gb) for a 36-month period, as and when required. All returnable forms (Schedules 1–8 and MBD 4, 5, 7.1, 8, 9) must be completed in full in permanent black ink; the entire original bid document must be submitted, initialled on every page, and signed by an authorised signatory with a valid Letter of Authority.
No awards will be made to any person in the service of the state, with municipal rates in arrears more than 90 days, or listed on National Treasury's restricted supplier database.
Submission must be by sealed envelope deposited in the bid box at No. 33 Corner Market and De Wet Street, eMkhondo, 2380, by 12:00 on 21 September 2026; no telegraphic, fax, email, or late bids accepted.
Pricing is not part of this panel appointment; work allocations will be evaluated under the 80/20 preference point system (80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals per MBD 6.1 and the municipality's policy).
