The department of basic education requires a service provider, or a consortium of service providers, to deliver tableau business intelligence and maintenance services for a 12-month period running from 01 december 2026 to 30 november 2027. The successful provider will support the department's tableau analytics environment, covering both ongoing maintenance and business intelligence work over the contract term. Bids close on 11 november 2026 at 13:00, so suppliers should confirm their tableau capability and capacity to mobilise by 01 december 2026 before committing to a bid.
Closing: bids must be submitted by 11 November 2026 at 13:00; late submissions will not be accepted.
Scope: provision of Tableau business intelligence and maintenance services, delivered either by a single provider or by a consortium.
Contract term: 12 months, commencing 01 December 2026 and ending 30 November 2027 — the provider must be ready to start on the commencement date.
Consortium bids: a consortium of service providers is expressly permitted, so the lead provider and each member's role should be clearly set out.
Tableau capability: bidders must demonstrate the technical ability to deliver both Tableau BI development and ongoing maintenance of the department's Tableau environment.
Pricing: submit a firm, itemised price for the full 12-month term; the quotation must remain valid through to the closing date.
Completeness: ensure every returnable document and signature required by the RFQ is included, as incomplete submissions may be disqualified.
