Scope: Consulting engineering services for routine road maintenance of National Route 2 Section 23 km 44.48 to N2 Section 27 km 1.85 and N3 Section 1 km 8.56 to N3 Section 4 km 1.60, in eThekwini Metro and uMgungundlovu District Municipality. Approximate program: design and construction documentation to be completed by March 2027, followed by supervision of up to 60 months. Commencement of supervision phase communicated at Handover meeting. Services include administration and monitoring, close-out, and capturing structures inventory updates. Workplan Appropriateness: tenderers must supply proposed hours for identified items in the Pricing Schedule; hours are compared to industry norm via 80th percentile method. Key personnel: Contract Engineer (CE) and Assistant Contract Engineer (ACE) if applicable, limited to maximum 6 RRM contracts. Proposed candidates must be permanent staff, not contracted persons.
