The sidings portfolio is a strategic enabler for road-to-rail connectivity, economic development, service delivery, and transformation, aligned with the National Rail Policy 2022 and Freight Logistics Roadmap 2023. TRIM is conducting an open market process for leasing sidings to ensure effective utilisation as strategic enablers, unlocking private sector investment for supply chain efficiency and volume growth from road to rail.
General lease terms: Successful bidder must sign TRIM Lease Agreement (Annexure H) as basis for negotiation.
