Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope to the address Ground Floor Shosholoza Meyl Junction, Cnr Leyds and Simmonds Street, Braamfontein on or before the closing date and time. No late bids will be accepted. Bids must be delivered by the stipulated time to the correct address. Late bids will not be accepted for consideration.

The evaluation criteria for this tender are: Stage 1 – Compliance, Stage 2 – Technical/Functional Requirements with a threshold of 80%, and Stage 3 – Price and Specific Goals Evaluation with a maximum of 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.

The technical specifications for this tender include: Servicing of fire extinguishers, hydrostatic testing, refilling of nitrogen powder, and procurement of new fire extinguishers.

Bidders must submit documentation for completed submissions, including similar Fire Management projects, Appointment Letter or Purchase Order on client letterhead, and Proof of Completion.

The company should demonstrate capability of the following competency within their structure: Valid Certificate for Technicians, Quality Manager, and Capacity to Deliver.

UNIT OF QTY UNIT PRICE TOTAL AMOUNT, ITEM MEASURE, DESCRIPTION, NO (UOM) R C R C, Servicing of fire 5 KG CO2 162, Servicing of fire 9KG DCP 86, Procurement of new 9KG 100, etc.

Bidders must complete the attached Pricing Schedule. Prices must be quoted in South African Rand, inclusive of all applicable taxes. The price offer must be firm and clearly indicate the basis thereof.

Bidders must comply with the following requirements: Completed Pricing and Delivery Schedule Form, Completed BOQ / Pricing Schedule, Signed and Completed RFQ Document, Standard Bid Documents (SBD) Forms, Letter of Good Standing, Valid SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number, and Joint Venture/Consortium/Subcontract Agreement if applicable.

Bidders are required to self-register on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) which has been established to centrally administer supplier information for all organs of state and facilitate the verification of certain key supplier information.

PRASA and the Supplier enter into an order/contract on these conditions to supply the items (goods/services/works) as described in the order/contract. The price or rates for the items stated in the order/contract may include an amount for price adjustment.
