• Bid documents are available for a non-refundable fee of R 1,322.62 (VAT inclusive). Proof of payment must be attached.
• Documents can be collected on weekdays from 07:30 to 15:30 at the SCM offices, corner of 3 Halite and Gold Street, Carletonville, 2499.
• Documents are also available electronically on the eTenders portal and Merafong City Local Municipality website.
• Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope, externally endorsed with the relevant bid number and description.
• Bids must be deposited in Bid Box 1 at the Revenue Section, Cnr Halite and Gold Street, Carletonville, between 07h30 and 16h00.
• Bids will be opened immediately thereafter in public.
• Late, incomplete, unsigned, pencil-written, or faxed/electronic submissions will not be accepted.
• Bids must be submitted on the original bid documents provided by the municipality.
• Bids must hold good for 90 working days.

Bid documents will be available for the non-refundable fee of R 1 322.62 vat inclusive (proof of payment must be attached with the returnable document) on weekdays from 07:30 until 15:30, at Merafong Local Municipality at SCM offices situated on the corner of 3 Halite and Gold Street, Carletonville, 2499 and bid documents will also be made available for the same document fee electronically on etenders portal and the Merafong

Open to registered audit firms/auditors meeting compliance requirements. Must have no municipal debt >90 days, proper company registration, and valid tax status. Must disclose all relevant relationships and ownership interests.

• The tender is for the appointment of a panel of auditors/external audit firms to render internal audit services for Merafong City Local Municipality (MCLM).
• The contract period is three (3) years.

• Companies must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit a CSD report not older than 3 months.
• Submit a municipal account for rates and taxes for the company and directors (as per CK) not owing for more than 90 days. If the account is not in your name, provide a copy of the lease agreement with proof of payment for 3 months from the bank (no statements).
• Provide certified copies of ID documents for all shareholders/owners/partners registered on the CK forms.
• Submit copies of company registration documents (CK1).
• Attach a valid tax PIN certificate.
• Bidders must disclose any family or business relationships with government officials.
• Bidders must disclose any other ownership or interest directors/shareholders have in related companies.
• Failure to comply with any condition leads to immediate disqualification.

• Companies must be registered on the CSD database and submit a CSD report not older than 3 months.
• Submit municipal account for rates and taxes (company and directors) not owing for more than 90 days, or a lease agreement with proof of payment for 3 months.
• Provide certified copies of ID documents for all shareholders/owners/partners.
• Submit copies of company registration documents (CK1).
• Disclose any family or business relationships with government officials.
• Disclose any other ownership or interest directors/shareholders have in related companies.

• Evaluation is in two stages: compliance requirements first, then functionality assessment.
• A minimum functionality score of 70/100 is required to proceed.
• The 80/20 preference point system applies: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals.
