Eligibility criteria (non-responsive if not met):

• The bidder must demonstrate relevant experience in supplying and delivering playground equipment, outdoor recreational equipment, municipal/public-area furniture, waste/recycling receptacles, solar lighting or similar outdoor equipment.
• Provide details of at least three (3) completed or current contracts of a similar nature, each with a reference letter on the client's official letterhead confirming: client name, bidder name, description of goods/services, contract dates, contract value, performance assessment, and contact details of the issuing person.
• Failure to complete the eligibility table or submit a reference letter for a claimed contract will render the bid non-responsive.

The Municipality reserves the right to verify reference information with the nominated clients.

The Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest, part of, or any bid. It may accept any quotation or part thereof, and may procure more items if prices are cost-effective.

Supply, delivery and installation of recreational, outdoor and municipal equipment for Bergrivier Municipality. Delivery to the following towns: Piketberg, Porterville, Velddrif, Wittewater, Goedverwacht, Redelinghuys, Aurora, Piket-Bo-Berg.

Items (each quantity 1):

1. Wooden Jungle Gym 1 (6.5m x 4.5m) – platforms, stepladder, tyre climb, fireman's pole, cargo net, roof, hang bridge, ramp & rope.
2. Wooden Jungle Gym with Slide (8.5m x 4.5m) – platforms, cargo net, roof, straight slide, hang bridge, double swing, fireman's pole, swing barrel, ramp & rope.
3. Wooden Jungle Gym (6.5m x 8m) – platforms, roof, double swing, log ladder, ramp & rope, tyre climb, straight slide, sandpit (no sand), cargo net.
4. Wooden Jungle Gym (8.0m x 7.0m) – platforms, straight slide, fireman's pole, double swing, ramp & rope, log ladder, monkey bar, hang bridge, swing barrel, closed sides, roof.

14. Sensored Solar LED Street Light 1600W – monocrystalline solar panel, up to 25% conversion rate, radar sensing, ABS material, IP65 waterproof, fitted on a 2m pole.

Prices must include all materials, components, fittings, accessories, labour, equipment, transport and installation necessary for a complete and functional product. No additional payment for components forming part of the specified item.

The work involves the supply, delivery and installation of the specified equipment. Installation includes assembly, erection, anchoring and fixing where required. Prices must include all associated labour, equipment, transport, materials and installation costs. Delivery must be made to the specified towns.

Pricing format: fixed prices only, inclusive of VAT (or exclusive for non-VAT vendors). Firm and non-firm prices, including prices subject to exchange rate variations, will not be accepted.

Quotation fee for hard copy: R70.00, non-refundable, payable to Bergrivier Municipality.

Quotations over R30,000 (VAT included) must be accompanied by the relevant MBD documentation.

No bid security, guarantee, or retention is specified.

CSD registration: Compulsory. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide their CSD number (starting with MAAA). No award will be made to a bidder not registered on CSD.

Tax compliance: Submit a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number. Failure to submit may invalidate the bid. A printed TCS certificate may also be submitted. For consortia/JVs/sub-contractors, each party must submit a separate TCS/CSD.

B-BBEE: Submit an originally certified B-BBEE certificate or originally certified sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs). Failure to submit results in 0 points for B-BBEE, but does not make the bid non-responsive.

The outdoor recycling bins are for textile, clothing and shoe recycling.
