The City of Cape Town requires an accredited service provider to deliver professional end-user computer training to its employees, students, EPWP participants and councillors.

• Contract period: 36 months from commencement date.
• The learning interventions are in-house competence programmes, non-accredited and non-credit-bearing.
• Provider accreditation is required as evidence of institutional capability; it does not make the interventions or certificates accredited.
• Tenderers may bid for one, more than one, or all interventions; each intervention is evaluated and awarded separately.
• Each intervention requires nomination of Facilitator 1 and Facilitator 2 (different individuals). The same individual may be Facilitator 1 for up to two interventions and Facilitator 2 for up to two interventions, but not both for the same intervention.
• Facilitators must have a minimum three-year tertiary qualification; certified copy must be provided with the tender or on request.
• Tenderers must submit a detailed proposal including: clear understanding of the programme, example classroom material/module and learner workbook, and a facilitator guide.

• The CCT may cancel the tender process before contract formation for reasons such as changed circumstances, lack of funds, no acceptable tenders, material irregularity, or inability to negotiate market-related pricing.
• The CCT may accept or reject any tender and is not obliged to accept the lowest or any tender.
• A standby bidder may be appointed per intervention and considered for award if the contract is terminated.
• Tender offer validity: 120 days after closing date, extendable to 12 months after expiry, and further by up to 6 months with mutual agreement and City Manager approval.
