The bid is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2000, and Regulations, 2022, and Ezemvelo's Supply Chain Management Policy. Foreign suppliers must complete a specific questionnaire regarding their tax presence in South Africa.

2. Bars (Olive Green & Gold) 1 Plain Strip: Rectangle shape, stainless steel gold metal, olive green finish, 2 back pins with rubber clutches.
3. Bars (Olive Green & Gold) 2 Plain Strips: Rectangle with small rectangle shape, stainless steel gold metal, olive green finish, 4 back pins with rubber clutches.
4. Bars (Olive Green & Gold) 3 Plain Strips: Square with small rectangle shape, stainless steel gold metal, olive green finish, 3 back pins with rubber clutches.
5. Bars (Olive Green & Gold) 3 Strips with a Gold Leaf in the Middle: Square with small rectangle shape, stainless steel gold metal, olive green finish with gold leaf, 3 back pins with rubber clutches.

• Samples may be requested during the technical evaluation phase. They must be properly sealed, labelled, and representative of the final product.

• Mandatory requirement: Submit two reference letters from previous clients confirming supply and delivery of goods to the value of R60,000 or more within the last five years.
• Each reference letter must include client name, company letterhead/stamp, description of goods supplied, client contact person, and contact details.
• Reference letters must be verifiable. Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife reserves the right to verify them.

• During technical evaluation, samples may be requested to verify compliance with specifications.
• Samples must be properly sealed, clearly labelled, and submitted as per instructions.
• Samples failing to meet specifications will result in disqualification.
• Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife reserves the right to request samples only from the highest-ranked bidders.

• Use the official pricing schedule (SBD 3.1).
• Only firm prices are accepted. Non-firm prices, including those subject to exchange rate variations, will not be considered.
• Prices must be valid for 90 calendar days from the closing date.

• For consortia/joint ventures/subcontractors, each party must submit separate tax compliance documentation.
• Complete the SBD 4 bidder's disclosure form regarding state employment and conflicts of interest.

• The General Conditions of Contract (GCC) apply.

• The supplier warrants goods are new, unused, and defect-free for 12 months after delivery or 18 months after shipment.
• Payment terms: Payment within 30 days of invoice submission, in South African Rand.
• Performance security may be required within 30 days of award (bank guarantee or cashier's cheque).
• The purchaser may inspect the supplier's records and audit performance.
• Penalties apply for delays in delivery.
• Contract may be terminated for default, insolvency, or corrupt practices.
• Disputes are first resolved by mutual consultation, then mediation, and finally South African courts.

• The 80/20 preference point system is applicable.
• Points are awarded for price (80) and specific goals (20).
• Specific goals include black ownership, black women ownership, black youth ownership, black people with disabilities ownership, and geographical location.
• Proof for specific goals is verified via the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
